When introduced, I tell people I am a FULL TIME, PROFESSIONAL REALTOR®. Why do I specify Full Time, Professional? Because unlike most REALTORS® this is my full-time profession and single source of income. I emphasize PROFESSIONAL because I have been a REALTOR® for 18 years and prior to that I had an additional 35 years in telecommunication and as a business owner.
Background
Prior to real estate, as previously noted, I spent over 35 years in the corporate world of telecommunications. During that time, I successfully managed multi-million accounts, all of which demanded exceptional customer service. Professionalism and responsiveness are two of the attributes I brought with me from that environment.
Education
After acquiring my real estate licenses, I continued pursuing additional training. To date, I have over 250 hours of post-license certified training. This helps me enhance my skills in special areas and allows me to better serve my clients and their unique needs. To date, I have achieved 11 designations (past & present) and certifications (CRS, GRI, ALHS, I.R.E.S., TAHS, CDPE, SRES, TRLP, RCC, CNHS, CRES).
Technology
Coming from a telecommunication background, I have always sought to keep up with the latest technology. This, combined with the power of Ebby’s technology departments, allows me to provide my clients with state-of-the-art searches, property tracking, and client follow-up.
Personal
Nicki, my wife of 51 years, and I moved to Rockwall all the way from the northwest tip of Plano in 2013 to be closer to our only daughter and son-in-law, but mainly our two grandkids – Brady 14, and Landry 12. Since moving to Rockwall, I have had the opportunity to go through the Citizens Police Academy, Citizens Fire Academy, and Leadership Rockwall - Class of 2016. I recently termed out after 6 years serving on Rockwall’s Planning and Zoning Commission, I am Chair of the City of Rockwall Comprehensive Plan (Our Hometown 2040), and currently, am on the boards of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, Rockwall Noon Rotary and the Rockwall County Rainbow Room as well as a substitute teacher in our local church Life Group.
